real shit on what it takes to run this
i'm one person. helldock. no investors holding the door, no growth team, no marketing budget. just me ratlining scans at 3am to make sure ur acne tracker doesn't shit the bed.
and every scan u do costs me actual money. AI api isn't free. supabase isn't free. the .com sure as hell isn't free. tips aren't paying anyone's salary — they keep the whole thing online so the next bestie who wants to know wtf is on their face can scan without paying a dime.

- AI inference. every scan = a few cents in vision-model tokens. 1k scans and that shit's a real bill.
- supabase. auth, scan history, daily check-ins. free tier folds around 10k users — then it's $25/mo and climbing.
- domain + hosting. the .com renews yearly whether i like it or not. vercel handles the deploy, also not free past hobby tier.
- ramen, deadass. coding at 3am on water isn't a lifestyle, it's a slow death.
