nah — tinkskin is cosmetic skin analysis only. we can clock common stuff like acne, texture, pigmentation from pics, but we're not a substitute for an actual board-certified derm. if u've got something serious or weird going on, see a doctor fr.
how accurate is the AI tho?
we use a top-tier vision model that reads 3 angles at once, way better than single-pic approaches. accuracy goes up A LOT with good lighting + no makeup. we're transparent it's not perfect — the point is to give u a solid starting point backed by evidence, not pretend it's a derm appointment.
where do my pics go?
pics get sent to our AI for analysis then immediately discarded. we don't store them, log them, or sell them. the analysis results save locally in ur browser (localStorage) and never leave ur device after that. clear ur browser data and they're gone fr.
why these products and not others?
