what it does
A natural compound derived from fungi that inhibits tyrosinase to reduce melanin production. Used primarily for hyperpigmentation, melasma, and uneven skin tone.
The original brightener before the alpha arbutin era. Derived from fungi, works by blocking the enzyme that makes melanin. Can irritate at high concentrations — don't go wild with percentages.
