what it does

A topical antiparasitic drug FDA-approved for papulopustular rosacea. Kills Demodex mites implicated in rosacea flares while reducing skin inflammation through anti-inflammatory mechanisms.

Demodex mites — tiny face mites — are a real thing and they make rosacea significantly worse. Ivermectin kills them AND has anti-inflammatory effects, with solid rosacea trial data. Very niche use case but when it's your use case, it's the right call.
